Visiting and Hunting

Marian and I went to northeast MS last Tuesday to hunt and visit with friends of ours.  Actually, Gerald, "Rooster" and I used to worked together at ATCO where I was Director of Industrial Labor Relations at Vicksburg.  We became good friends and after I retired he moved to north MS near Okalona and took a job at Maben, MS, in a lumber yard.  We did not harvest a deer but enjoyed our visit and hunting in the snow which fell early Thursday morning.  Rooster and I spent time around the kitchen table talking about old times and when it started to snow, Rooster stepped outside and played with "Jake" his dog.  We left Saturday noon to come home and while on the Natchez Trace, Marian took several pictures of frozen creek beds.
